Nobody Review

Nobody Director: Ilya Naishuller

Who’s in it?

Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Aleksei Serebryakov, RZA, Michael Ironside, Colin Salmon, and Christopher Lloyd

What’s it about?

Hutch Mansell, a suburban dad, overlooked husband, nothing neighbor — a “nobody.” When two thieves break into his home one night, Hutch’s unknown long-simmering rage is ignited and propels him on a brutal path that will uncover dark secrets he fought to leave behind.

Is it any good?

Yes, It’s batshit crazy in terms of narrative structure, pacing and twists which are hiding in plain sight. Bob Odenkirk has always been for me, Saul Goodman, this film changes that narrative as the ticks, nuances and gestures of this character are totally different and he breathes a new lease of life into his acting range.
